While grazing the pages of Lucky Magazine's March issue I noticed a reoccurring trend: black bras peeking out of sheer, lace blouses. Lauren Conrad rocked this look on the cover, and the "Look of the Month" paired it with boyfriend jeans and heels. It's daring, adventurous, a head-turner, and utterly unsubtle.
The bra-and-lace duo introduces romance to sexy and feminine to bold all at once. I love the juxtaposition that it embodies and the confidence it exudes.
These attributes were inviting but actually wearing the look terrified me. And so I tried it.
Fashion should be adventurous, after all.
What was the last look or trend you tried that scared you at first? Would you wear it again?
