Springtime Wedding

With the Florida wedding of my dear friend on the horizon, I've been scoping out options on what to wear. It will no doubt be warm so my outfit should be light, airy & easy to dance in. As it's in March, I'd love for it to include touches of Springtime & some of the season's hottest trends such as emerald (2013's pantone color of the year) or florals.

What do you think of the two options below? I love the peach dress but I'm worried it looks too white for a wedding. And I love the floral option, but is it perhaps too casual?

...What's that you say? Go with both? Well that's certainly an interesting proposition. After all, a girl can never have too many fabulous dresses. (My credit card is giving me the death stare as I type this.)

  5. I vote for the second one! The first one is cute too, but I would be nervous that it's too white...I'm sure you could wear it to something else though ;-)

  11. Personally I am terrified at the idea of wearing anything even resembling white to someone else's wedding, but maybe that first dress is more obviously peach in person. The color scheme of the first outfit is beautiful, but I reeeeeally adore that floral dress in the second outfit! Decisions, decisions!

  19. Hey lady! Thanks for popping by my blog!

I do love the peach/mint combo but I can see your point about it being too light....hmmm...It is classic and if maybe pairing it with a mint cardigan in case the air conditioner is blasting it might make the peach pop more??!!

I do like the floral option too!! =)

Congrats to your friend and best wishes picking! =)

  22. hahah your credit card. both dresses are lovely, but I would be worried about how light the peach dress is - maybe it's darker in person?

  23. Very cute outfits! I'd probably go with the second one only because, like you said, the first one looks too close to white.

  26. I think both dresses are great, but depending on the formality of the wedding, you may be right about the casual factor of the floral option. (You could probably dress it up with accessories, though!) That peach one is beautiful- such a classic cut! Does it read really pale in real life? Because then I can understand your concern with the whole white factor of the weddig dress. Anyhoo, the emerald drop earrings are stunning!

  28. I love that floral dress, you could totally dress it up with accessories for the wedding. The peach dress is also really pretty, I see what you mean about it being rather light - who knows what it looks like in person though. I feel like you need those emerald earrings either way though. :-)

  29. I adore both outfits...so difficult to choose from such pretty dresses!

  30. as for me, i like the color palette of the first photo but coz of my perky/girly personality id go for the 2nd one. :)

  31. Ooh how do you decide on when they are both so cute! The first option is very classy and elegant I am always a fan of that and the shoes are adorable! I don't think it's too white either. Option two is really cute and fun. I love a cute floral dress and that one is so CUTE the floral isn't over the top! Gold with anything is never a bad thing:) Have fun deciding and finding the perfect ensemble!
