On My "Must Read" List

I have a terrible confession. It's one that I'm embarrassed to admit, and frankly am a little ashamed of. I haven't read a book in months. Let that simmer for a bit.

Now, if you're not a book lover, "So what?" most likely followed your thought process after my confession.  But, here's the thing, I am a book lover, so this little blimp in my life choices is one that saddens me deeply. It's not that I haven't wanted to read, it's just that I haven't had time. Between work, wedding planning, this blog, and squeezing in a little fun along the way, days always seem to fly by faster than I can blink. All of a sudden I'm cuddled up in bed andzzzzzzz. Before I know it, morning has come and the craziness starts all over again.

Luckily I have a 2 week holiday break from work approaching (I. Can't. Wait.) and I'll have plenty of time on my hands to relax and get back to my bookworm roots. Below is a list of some reads I've heard good things about & can't wait to curl up with.

Any other recommendations for great books you've read lately? Have you read any of the above? Any thoughts to share? Do tell!

  3. I have two weeks off too (YAYAYAY) and my goal is to read at least three books...I usually read six or seven on a weeks vacation to the beach, so I think this is manageable. A few more to add to your list: Sisterland, The Best of Everything, The Engagements and You Before Me!

I'm definitely going to use the holiday break to catch up on my reading - I've read Where'd You Go Bernadette and Gone Girl and both were amazing. I also really recommend Life After Life!
